Lambda Sigma Pi fraternity is a unique local fraternity at Cal State Northridge that uses American Sign Language as its primary language of communication, and embraces the Deaf culture. The fraternity is open to all Deaf and hard of hearing male students, as well as hearing male students who can sign.

Our members are brothers from all races, religions, languages, and backgrounds. We strive to live as lifetime friends who share common beliefs, but have different temperaments, talents, and convictions.

As of Fall 2011, Lambda Sigma Pi remains an active fraternity devoted to our traditions with more than 100 Brothers Initiated since its inception. It is the only fraternity solely for the Deaf and hard of hearing men west of the Mississippi River.
