Lambda Sigma Pi was founded on November 16, 1993 at Cal State Northridge in Northridge, California, as a Deaf fraternity by three men. The Fraternity's primary purpose, they believed, was to appreciate, develop and promote the core values of friendship, justice, and learning as well as provide leadership and social development for deaf men at CSUN.
