Academic Year 2011 - 2012 Officers
  • Daniel Harberts a.k.a. Padre Fudge - President - Born and raised in San Clemente, Daniel Harberts' current major is Mecanical Engineering.  Among his biggest accomplishments in life was defeating cancer at the age of three.  His future plans include working at a nuclear power plant and manage projects.  As busy as he is, he always find time to read, play sports, and hang with friends.
  • Justis Klein-Edgarton a.k.a. Mr. Clean - Treasurer - Justis Klein-Edgerton was born in San Diego and raised in Oroville, Northern California with his adopted family.  He is studying Liberal Studies with a grand plan to become a teacher for the Deaf.  In his free time, he likes to read, hang out with friends, and travel to new places.
  • Hugo Martinez a.k.a. Bongo - Hugo Martinez was born in Mexico and moved to Santa Barbara when he was five years old.  He will graduate soon with a B.A. in Graphic Design, and he is currently working as an American Sign Language tutor at Santa Barbara City College.  His plans after graduation include visiting Mexico, developing his graphic design portfolio, and to land a job.  He enjoys going out with friends, playing soccer and volleybann, and watching movies.
  • Joe Henderson a.k.a. The Dark One - Vice President - Joe Henderson is a U.S. veteran from Palm Springs with six years of acive duty in the U.S. Air Force.  He is currently studying to become a sign language interpreter.  He plans to obtain a teaching credential in the near future.  He spends his free time with his girlfriend, fine-tuning his proficiency with weapons, and playing first-person shooting games.
  • Danny Cho a.k.a. Cream Puff - Junghwan "Danny' Cho was born in In-cheon, South Korea.  His concentration in Deaf Studies major is ASL Literature.  His future plans include attend Gallaudet for graduate school and/or go back to Korea for teaching jobs.  He loves to sing karaoke, eat Korean BBQ and sushi, and go shopping.  
  • Peter Aguilar a.k.a. LETC - Peter Aguilar is a diligent student with a major in Deaf Studies in Community Service track and minor in Sociology.  He was born and raised in Orange County, and he was involved with various organizations at University High School and Golden West Community College.  His future goal is to work as a correctional treatment specialist for deaf prisoners.  When he is not busy, he loves to camp out, fish, and play soccer.
  • Ali Fakourfar a.k.a. Ghost - Native of Southern California, Ali Fakourfar is a Deaf Studies major with focus on interpreting.  He graduated from East L.A. College, where he founded ASL Club and was awarded Dean's list four times.  Currently he holds the rank of 1st in Judo and is a gold medalist.  He enjoys drawing, practicing fighting styles, and spending time with loved ones.
  • Dylan Walsh a.k.a Mr. Freeze - Secretary - Dylan is an emerging leader from La Cañada, in Pasadena area.  His major is mthematics, and he plans to add a minor in the near future.  As of now, he enjoys watching entertainment online and paying Yu-Gi-Oh trading card game.
  • Christian Smith a.k.a. Stimpy - Alumni Advisor - Originally from Long Beach, Christian Smith graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies, and currently is in the teaching credential program.  His current summer job is Gate Attendant for the city of Long Beach.  His plan after graduation is to become a teacher for the Deaf.  When he isn't busy, he likes to spend time with his girlfriend, watch movies, and playing video games.
  • Andrew S. Leyva a.k.a. Sterling Silver - Faculty Advisor - Andrew S. Leyva was born in Mexico City, Mexico, grew up in Los Angeles, and works as a staff interpreter through the National Center on Deafness and holds CI/CT, NAD-IV certifications.  In addition with doing freelanc work, he is also an interpreting mentor and had the opportunity to work and present locally and nationally.  For fun, he loves to travel, anything Apple, and is a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson.
